Surprisingly excellent This game is really good. Fun unique gameplay, beautiful graphics, multiple game modes make it a steal at 99 cents. I don't usually review apps but this one is just that good! Reminds me of Mirror's Edge from console gaming.

Dominic Montano at Nov. 5, 2013

Highly addictive This game rocks. Couldn't put it down. I hope for more levels. Some levels are ridiculously hard and it's funny how you notice your brain works when you switch colors.

Jonathan Hoffman at Nov. 27, 2012

Excellent game It really is well made. I am not usually a fan of free runners but this kinda makes me appreciate the genre. It's too bad about the studio.

Conan Magee at Jan. 7, 2013

Fantastic, better than expected This is a creative reinvention of the endless running genre, takex a ton of coordination but is so well designed that it's not too hard yet there are plentry of challenges for advanced players. I much prefer puzzlers to running generally, but this game keeps you on your toes. Great control, graphics, music, challenges. Playing on a motorola xoom tablet.

Splendid! Simply splendid! I can confirm that this game is both chocolatey AND delicious!

Great Game This review was based on a Samsung Note 2. I like the neon colors of red and blue. The graphics are crisp and the animations are smooth. The music is driving yet not overpowering. Kinda like Deus Ex (pc) or other conspiracy games. The first couple of bosses were challenging but not too much so. More timing than anything. Most of game is timing. I like the way the game morphs the basic premise and continues to challenge and please. Some places are challenging and have not finished game yet.

First thoughts After a minor od on endless mediocre endless runners, this has restored some faith to the genre. Well put together game, with more challenging gameplay than I was expecting. The extra elements in the game, and the great execution, might well make me delete a few of the endless runners I've got. Can't make up my mind if its 4 or 5 stars, might have to upgrade.

Must have - Definitely worth the buy. Simple enough to reel you in, complex enough to get you hooked. One of the few android games that I will happily play outside of commutes! Brings back that "one more level" feeling that few apps can capture, definitely worth the purchase!

Chris Jaramillo at Jan. 26, 2013

The best endless running Android game hands down. I It's simple controls and challenging puzzle levels makes this game well worth the price and deserves to be played. This Polar is one of those rare cases of Android games you don't want to stop til you've beaten the level. While it's through simple confusion on your end or quick reflexes Polar captures you to keep on playing. So what are you waiting for? Get the game if you haven't already!

Well worth buying One of the best mobile games, seriously. Sucks you in. Seems easy at first, but gets challenging. Stretches your brain. Rhythm action platformer hybrid that establishes a simple formula and takes it through clever and devious inversions. Very precise later in the game you will need them. Can kill me 60 times in a level and leave me not only un-frustrated, but smiling throughout.

Great concept, great execution The ideas for this game are great, the color changing mechanic is well done and has lots of variation. There's lots of content, and the game seems nice and polished, and the story is surprisingly not terrible for this type of game. The level art is alright. The quality is high, but the there's nothing special about the subject matter. Overall it's probably the weakest part of this game, which says a lot about how great the rest of this game is. Definitely worth the price.

Kat Spaur at Sept. 10, 2014

Almost awesome Great concept, great story, nice art, punishing difficulty as you get past level 20, and while there is the saving grace of multiple check points, if you need to pause even briefly the entire punishing level restarts. I liked this game at first. Was this made by a sadist?! I enjoyed the challenge at first, and I plan to fight through to the end for the sake of the story, if my sanity can handle it.

Delon Eubena at Jan. 5, 2015

You will die...a lot I really wanted to rate this game higher, but its crippling difficulty makes me wonder if the level designers wanted anyone aside from the most masochistic twitch players to actually complete the game, never mind replaying to collect the bonuses. It's a shame since the artwork, cutscenes, animations, and pace are all top notch. Sadly, once you get to level 25 and beyond, all bets are off and the game reaches a level of hell few will tolerate. Great creative effort, but far too much sadism in the design.

Jeremy Lehman at Dec. 3, 2012

Hard to deny the stars It is very hard to deny this game stars tho I am not necessarily a fan of the genre. It's designed extremely well for mobile devices (quickies) but still pulls you in enough for that 'one more run' itch (marathons). Generally though, it will be better suited for a quick session. It also sports a load of game modes, I took random mode for a spin after about 10 lvls of story, going to be an intense game to beat.

A Google User at Dec. 16, 2014

Best endless runner Fantastic game, very cleverly made and not so easy to get through. The dynamics are ace.

James Kono at March 3, 2013

Ok game Could look better and for me it was too easy and got bored quickly. Better visuals and more variety needed.

A Google User at Nov. 30, 2012

Polara: Setting the Bar I would expect to see a game this finely crafted on the PC, PSN, or XBOX LIVE network, at 15 times it's current price (99 cents). And I would happily pay it. Everything about this game gleams with polish; the music, the level design, the sound, the cut scenes, and the sheer volume of content in the story mode alone. The difficulty gets high around level 35 and they are still introducing mechanics past lvl 40. It's good for marathons with that "one more level" appeal, but good for a quickie. Buy it now!

Mike Burton at June 18, 2014

Best infinite runner, period I love this game in ways it's hard to explain. The fact is, this really defines a good infinite runner for me - jumping and one other mechanic tied together in a way where each complements the other. By the end you are playing a rhythm game as much as a runner. It's amazing how good it becomes.

Nikush Patel at Dec. 4, 2012

Brilliant Game Like most other commenters I don't usually go for free runner games, but this game is different and worth a try. The best part about the game is how you are frequently introduced to new game mechanics to keep things fresh and fun. I don't see myself getting bored with this any time soon, which is more than I can say for most other games on the store.
