Wine management on the go Love it. Now i really have no excuse not to keep our wines up-to-date. CT has come a long way over the years. I've tried others and always come back. Eric and his team own it. Believe it. CT is the Daddy.

Finally, an app that really works with Cellartracker Database. I have tried the rest, mediocre apps, barcode scans that remove a random bottle from Cellartracker inventory, but not THE BOTTLE. This is the perfect app to work with a large Cellartracker database. Scan the barcode or type the number and this app removes it from inventory CORRECTLY. It works just the way you would expect a Cellartracker App to work. Looks similar to the Cellartracker mobile web page but with barcode scanning and better search capabilities. Bottom line, if your wine inventory lives in Cellartracker, this app IS AWESOME . There is no better wine app with access to the database. Just download this already!

A Memorable Release To borrow a wine analogy, this is a great release! CT is the best online program available for managing your wine cellar, bar none IMHO. Up to now, the only issue was the lack of a CT branded app for mobile, forcing fans to settle for a third party option. Now that problem no longer exists. As you would expect, the CT app is tightly integrated with the desktop version. A great effort for a first release. No doubt future vintages will continue to delight your digital palate.

A good start A good start on the app. One big hindrance right now is adding bottles. After you scan a bottle and it asks for which vintage, you can't see the entire year on the buttons. Just 20..., 20... (HTC One) The navigation also needs a little work. I like the quick search/barcode scan under the hamburger. But, navigation gets a little more difficult when you are down in one of the flows. I like "My Cellar" (tabbed version as the home page), but selecting that from the navigation brings you to "In My Cellar".

Holding my breath This app needs to focus on the tasks of selecting and removing a bottle from inventory. On that front it fails badly, missing both the nice "wine menu" reports I print for browsing, or the ability to filter (e.g. show me my red pinots). If these two were possible I'd feel motivated to be a contributor again, but as is I feel like going back to the well, again.

Some Passwords not supported I ran into the issue that my 12 character password with special characters (allowed on the normal website) did not work with the app or mobile site. I changed to a 10 character password without special characters and it worked fine. Other then that, the app appears to be working as expected.

Eamon Duede at Oct. 5, 2014

Good but major flaw This is a great app. Major flaw is that when you go to add a wine, the years are abbreviated like this: "20..." "20..." "20...". That's worthless. This needs to be patched.

Gennadiy Ryklin at Sept. 4, 2014

Awesome I've been waiting for them to release an app. Now if it could only read labels like vivino

Great App interface to top wine resource anywhere Great transition to thy app world. Great tie into the the Cellartracker website database. I'm excited to see the new features roll out!

bruce ream at Sept. 4, 2014

The world is now a better place Thank you Cellar Tracker code writing team! You have taken us mobile! Looks and feels just like the website. Well done.

Gian Robinson at Jan. 18, 2015

Yes! This makes looking through my collection while shopping for pairings much simpler. An added bonus is now I can add/remove wine right when it happens, and not a few weeks or months later when I remember it again. I have to agree that label scanning like some of the competition would be the only thing I wish for.

Ron Tesoro at Sept. 4, 2014

Too stark Nothing beats the original version of cellar tracker. It still works better than subsequent versions. The app doesn't use page space very well, and is slower to navigate than the web version. Sorry, just the way I see it.

Michaël Gaudette at Oct. 4, 2014

It seems almost complete, but until I figure out how to set the "drink from... To..." dates for my wines it's missing a very important feature. Also, there must be a way to specify precisely the position of the wine in the cellar...?

James Watt at April 25, 2015

Must have app for anyone who drinks wine I'm not an expert. This app is very helpful

Edward Olanow at Sept. 3, 2014

Happy to have the app, but... bears a startling resemblance to the mobile web site. There's nothing wrong with that but I would have hoped for a little more 'android kitkat' specific interface and aesthetic. Nonetheless, a good start from one of my favorite devs.

Robert Blake at Sept. 3, 2014

Great application Overall, CellarTracker is a great application with this new Mobil app providing greater flexibility in its use. Looking forward to future updates that will provide the functionality in the full website version that is currently missing from this app.

Brad Cummings at Sept. 3, 2014

More goodness Certainly seems as solid as the web site. Good job CellarTracker dudes!

Jason Adams at Sept. 4, 2014

Great app Loved the site.So happy to see that there is an app now! Well done cellar team.

Surprisingly slow. Doesn't look like a "local" app. Feels like using a web browser for all the content. Disappointed.

Rob Watt at Feb. 11, 2015

No use at all The scanner function for barcodes is so slow, clumsy, and unable to focus that it barely works. When it does, the wine is often unrecognised or wrongly identified. This is just the same as all the other badly-implemented wine cellaring apps out there.
